BIONIK-ISLES GREBENZEN, STYRIA
One of the most innovative nature experience facilities is the Nature Park Zirbitzkogel/Grebenzen in Styria. Not only does it offer a Bionic Placement for young people, it also organises workshops and projects in the area of "learning from nature".The latest project is the “Bionic Island” at the entrance to the Gragger gorge. In co-operation with VERDANDI a spiralling path was designed which offers multiple stations where visitors can experience and learn about bionic aspects such as the bearing capacity of spider silk, the flight of birds, and others.
The interactive stations are mainly designed for children while the grown-ups can get all the information on information boards.

INTERACTIVE INSTALLATIONS ON THE AHORNER PLATEAU IN TYROLIA
By order of the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen VERDANDI created a unique installation 2000 meters above sea level: tourists can now explore the landscape with an interactive 3D flight in an original Tyrolean mountain hut. The outdoor space offers a path to enjoy other highlights of the region. An eagle-shaped pillar almost three meters high introduces the domestic birds of prey. Two more interactive pillars explain the geology and the regional glaciers. A hike along this path will turn into an educational experience.
