NATURE PARK GINZLING, ZILLERTALER ALPS

The alpinist village Ginzling in Tyrol is home of the newly built "Naturparkhaus", which hosts a very innovative permanent exhibition.

On 160 m² VERDANDI presents the story of an expedition team that vanished five years ago: They were searching for a climate satellite and made a sensational discovery but could not tell anybody about it anymore. Only by means of the equipment of the exhibition which was found on a glacier in the Zillertal alps we can reconstruct what the team found. Notes, photos, and videos finally unveil the secret the team had been looking for.

He has meticulously observed his environment and is now displaying his finding in his castle. In his notebooks and his hand-built machines interesting details and surprising information can be found, a great experience for the whole family.

GESÄUSE NATIONAL PARK - GEOLOGY EXHIBITION

For the youngest National Park in Austria - the Gesäuse National Park - Verdandi has created a unique exhibition showing the geological character of the region. In close co-operation with the National Park and geologists a concept was developed that presents the exhibition's contents multimedialy and invites the visitors to interact with the terminals.

Nine interactive terminals offer the opportunity to learn how to identify the different regional rocks, to actively influence the mountain building, experience the last ice age or virtually fly over the National Park.

The geology exhibition is a unique experience and the interactive multimedia approach opens new presentation opportunities of a very complex topic. .

WATER SCHOOL HOHE TAUERN, MALLNITZ

For the waterschool - one of the national park's most popular offers - Verdandi has designed and produced two playing stations. The objective for the first station was to explain the flora and fauna of the national park on the different altitudes in a playful way and make children understand why certain plants and animals only live in certain areas.

The second station offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the national park's beauty through a virtual presentation. Both stations had to be designed in such a way as to easily assemble and dissemble them for trade shows and presentations.

BIOS NATIONAL PARC CENTRE, MALLNITZ

Shortly after the first opening the prognoses about visitor numbers already proved to be wrong. Verdandi was asked for help and managed through marketing consulting, design of new marketing material and a freshly adapted exhibition concept to triple visitor numbers within one season.

The BIOS science centre has developed into one of the favourite tourist attractions in the region..
